Sometimes Nature is Too Cool for Words

Is it a Hummingbird?  Is it a bee?  Is it something else?

Yes, it's something else! Even though we call it a birdbee, it's a Snowberry Clearwing Moth.

    Great video! There sure are a lot of unusual creatures in Ohio. I remember seeing a large hornet-like flying insect fighting in midair with the cicada it was carrying. I later discovered it is called a cicada-killer wasp.
